today's follow-through with the itinerary was GREAT; tim killed it with his poster, really really interesting results of recognizing faces that are a) familiar and unfamiliar, and b) looking directly at you, or turned to the side- great job for a first-time presenter at SfN!!
the multisensory talk by dora angelaki was also really interesting and engaging; saw her speak at the Canadian Physiological Society Conference, and i really feel lie i learned a lot!
i also participated in a focus group that was interested in getting some feedback on SfN communications, and i got a free lunch, meeting t-shirt, and a chance to win an iPad!! that would come in super handy for next year's meeting (lugging around the program books are a literal pain in the neck!!)
the nanosymposium on social behaviour and perception of self was fascinating; some of the most interesting talks i've seen- including the study on theory of mind vs. reading fiction.
